I think it’s safe to eat. I have eaten it a few times at Aston restaurant and nothing happened.

C-Sec Walking to hospital

Hi, is it safe to walk everyday to hospital and take public transport? Im 2 weeks post partum via C-Sec. My baby is still in the hospital so I need to walk and take public transport everyday to get in KKH. Does any of you experienced the same and is fine? Cause im feeling a bit of pain in the upper side of my incision. Im a bit worried

Maybe you can wear the belly support to ease the pain? Hope your baby goes home soon.

How is everyone holding up? I’m tired all the time, terrible pelvic pain and still having freakin nausea and I’m 28 weeks and 4 days today and feel like I can’t wait for baby to come OUT 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and also I HAVE GD!!!!!! #Rant

Same here! Had bad pelvic pain which makes walking, getting out of bed and turning on bed so tough now! 😫

Ceasarian (CS) Recovery

Hi Mummies, im 13days post partum via CS. Is it normal to have sudden pain inside the wound? Its sudden, doesnt linger as well. Goes on and off. Im afraid im over exerting my self since I travel to go hospital everyday (my baby premature)

hi mummy! did you have your appt with your doctor already? im a cs mom too, and felt on and off pain too. but dr reassured me that im ok during my checkup. for me, the pain and sensitivity lasted several months but everything is ok

Request for WFH. #32weeks

My next appointment will only be in Week 34/35, planning to ask gynae for HL but I doubt they’ll give…..anyone knows if possible to get wfh memo. My whole body has been aching so bad & I don’t think I can tahan back and forth journey to office with the crowd. Sigh. #firsttimemom

Even if you do get a wfh memo, I think it’s up to the company whether to approve it or not as its not like MC. It’s not official like a by law thing.

Maternity Insurance with Gestational Diabetes

Anyone can advise on maternity insurance after being diagnosed with GD? Anyone managed to get it if yes, pls share.

I doubt you will be able to get maternity insurance once you are already diagnosed GD. You have to apply before any major check up/test.

I'm 28+5 today, want to know if all mummies are feeling the constant baby movements everyday? I can sometimes from morning to afternoon no movement and when evening comes its super active. Very worried about counting movements and want to find out is it too early to not feel so much movements yet.

Diff fetus diff movement based on my experience. My first was a boy and he also move and kick during evening but once he is out he is super active 😄 whereas now I’m # 2 move from day to night very active.

Which scan or appt would hubby need to go?

Hi, I am week 5, subsidised patient w NUH. Have not gone for any appt w Gyne yet. I am also not sure how frequent the scans/ appts will be. Can I enquire which scan or appt should hubby not missed? Cos he has limited annual leave so we wanna save it for the important doc appts n scans if possible.

Usually those with first check up (hearing heartbeat/doctor consultation) then ultrasound appt at FCC. Normal consultation I don't have my spouse to follow.
