Labour Options
Hi mummies.. I will be a mum of two soon.. my child will be exactly 2 years apart. I gave birth in 2021, with emergency csect. As I went through a lot of grey snapshots of my labour, after birth I prolly had a mild depression or baby blue. It took me months to recover. Even though I was traumatised, I do want to have another child. Now that I’m pregnant for my second one, because of my traumatised moments during labour from the previous one. I right away wanted my labour to be csect. Because maybe I know how the process works and such. But people around me ask me to go for natural birth. I felt disheartened and taken aback because they don’t know what I went through and it’s traumatic. Therefore I don’t want to go through natural birth because I don’t know what to expect and I don’t want to go through another traumatising moments again. If anyone can share you thoughts or views, so that I can enjoy my second pregnancy in peace and happy. 🥺🥺

Spotting alarm
I’m in my week 6. Suddenly one night after dinner, I came home with coffee brown stain, you know like your tail end of menses. I contemplated between staying calm to wait till my first gynae visit in 4 days time (coz I read that spotting may be common) or to go to A&E (In case it means something bad). I decided to go to A&E instead and the nurse called my gynae over after hearing my concern. So my first meeting with gynae happened at A&E instead of his clinic! Long story short, he commented that it was a good decision to go to A&E when unsure because wondering won’t help. Check up gives a peace of mind. He checked and showed me the sac thru u/s scan. But he also commented that the black dot seemed a little small for week 6. Might be a late bloomer or not developing well :( He gave me duphaston to help support pregnancy and progesterone jab (damn painful) to help with uterine lining or something. We agreed that we will postpone our gynae visit to another week and see if the baby grows bigger. Gynae was assuring though he laid out the potential outcomes, good or bad. So first time mommies, best to make a trip to clinic when in doubt!
First trimester is so cruel to me. Any remedy?
Hi mummies. It’s my first time expecting, am currently at my 5+ week. However, I have gone through the worst first trimester so far 😔 I feel so sad and alone everyday because I’m WFH and no one’s home. And my morning sickness lasts mostly till 9pm daily. The nausea is so bad and I cant stop gagging or vomitting at everything. Sometimes i cant even get out of the bed and sleep a few hours at a time. Is this normal? I feel so stressed out because nothing I do seems to help my situation and I feel so tired. Is there any remedy or suggestions anyone can provide me? Please 😭
How do mummies cope with 2 or more kids.
Dear mommies, I have a 2 year old currently in childcare and another baby will come by next year in February 2023. My hubby and me working office hour. We have no extra help (no helper, no parents help). We want to put our 2nd baby through infant care but that doesn't solve our problem of coping through sleepless night and household chores. How do mummies cope with this?
