Isit normal for a 1 y.o not to grow any teeth yet? My girl is below underweight, but she's able to walk and all except her teeth haven't grow yet 😅 she's eaten a whole variety of food ranging and yet she still doesn't have teeth. My son who's 3 years older grew his tooth around 8 months. So abit worried that my girl hasn't had any teeth yet. 😅

Just like us adult, kids do poo/pee often. Mainly due to milk consumption or food intake. As long as it is not watery stool, red blood stool or constipation. That's the part you need to be more worry.

I just gave birth 8 months ago. My period never this late. My last period was on july 15. I took pregnancy test but it came out negative. Do 4 tests but all were negative. Have anyone ever encounter like this? Late period for almost 2 months and test negative.

If you are still breastfeeding then your period will still be haywire..

11 month old premature baby has no teeth yet

My baby was born at 33rd weeks ,now she is 11 months old (actual age) her development was normal as full term baby but she is not having single teeth …that makes me worry but my mom used to say that i got my first teeth in 1.8 years but even without teeth i spoke a lot at that times…..is this normal? But she is showing teething signs like biting everything and have droolings but still no teeth…..#pleasehelp #worriedmom

Since your baby was born at 33 weeks, her corrected age is closer to about 8-9 months, so teeth coming in later than full-term babies is quite expected and not unusual at all. That said, given her prematurity and the fact that teething signs are there but no teeth yet, it would be worth bringing it up with her PD at the next visit just to get a professional opinion and put your mind at ease. Family history of late teething like yours is also a real factor, so there may be nothing to worry about, but having the PD take a look is the safest way to be sure.

Gynae who deliver in Mount Alvernia

Hi Mummies, I am in my 10th week and with Dr Wong Heng Fok currently. He’s a great gynae so far but sadly we didnt want to deliver at Thomson and he is only based there. Ive done a check and most gynae who deliver in Mount Alvernia has clinic based here which is kinda inconvenient for me for my regular gynae visits. Any of you have gynae who deliver in Mount A but clinic is not based there? Greatly appreciate all advise! Ty in advance #firstbaby #pregnancy #pleasehelp

Which side of sg you are located? My gynae clinic at gleneagle but can deliver in Mt a. Another gynae which can deliver in Mt a locate in Yishun chong Pang Dr Chen lin han.

How many ultrasound images do you get??

Hi there, do yall also get just 1 ultrasound image during scan to bring back home? I have seen some parents get 4 or 5 after their scan. Will that show in detail of the baby? Can we ask for it too?

i get 1 or 2. it depends on the gynae actually

My 5 month baby has started to poop like this about 4-5times a day and it is not much. The consistency is a bit like soft plasticine. Is this normal? She used to poop once with poop that is normal. Thank you!

Fever for 4 days

My 5 year old boy having on and of fever for 4 days....only with paracetamol the fever is coming down ...and no fever in afternoon and for the evening tenperature rises to 39.5 ....do i need to go to ER again?...have anyone experienced fever for 5 days?...#advicepls #pleasehelp #firstbaby

Ah, four days is definitely on the longer side, I think most doctors here would say that if the fever is still spiking to 39.5°C by day four or five even with paracetamol, it's worth going back to see someone rather than waiting it out at home. Someone in my mum group mentioned that the general rule of thumb is if fever crosses 39.5°C consistently or your child suddenly becomes very lethargic, develops a rash, or stops drinking fluids, those are the signs to head to the ER rather than the polyclinic. On the other hand, if he's still reasonably alert, eating a little, and the paracetamol is bringing the temperature down within the hour, some parents do monitor one more day, but at five years old and day four, I personally would not wait much longer. Make sure you're dosing the paracetamol by his weight, not just his age, because that makes a real difference in how effective it is. That said, every child is different, so please do check with your paediatrician directly, they can assess properly whether this is viral or something that needs further investigation.

39.4 degree fever in 5 yr old

My husband got debgue 10 days back...now my kid is also having a sudden fever from yesterday night like 37.5 to 38.5...i went to the clinic yesterday and in the morning went to poly also...but when dr checked fever is only 37.3...but after coming home it is 39.3 and after giving paracetamol it is now 38.5.....should i go to kk again to check for dengue?#pleasehelp #advicepls #worried
