Sweet Potato Balls

  • 500 g sweet potato
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 tbsps maida
  • 1/2 cup white sesame
  • 4 tbsps normal sugar
  • Oil , as needed


  1. In a cooking pot, add water, sweet potato and boil it. After that let it cool down and grater it.
  2. Now, add egg, sugar and mix it well then make balls.
  3. In a bowl, add water, maida flour and mix it well. The paste is ready.
  4. Now, dip the balls in maida paste and then cover it with sesame.
  5. Next, deep fry these balls until golden brown.
  6. Tasty sweet potato balls are ready for iftar. You can also dip them in grated coconut instead of sesame.
