Shrimp Curry

  • 340 g shrimp
  • 2 tsps sesame seeds
  • Tsps curry powder
  • 1/8 tsps turmeric powder
  • 1 ¾ tsps sea salt
  • 1 tsps sunflower oil
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tsps garlic crushed
  • 1 cups coconut cream
  • 1-2 tsps lime juice fresh


  1. Clean and dry the shrimp
  2. Heat oil in pan on medium heat
  3. Fry sesame seeds and garlic until they slightly brown
  4. Add the coconut cream, curry powder, turmeric and season with salt. Simmer for 2 mins
  5. Add shrimp and cook through for 2 minutes
  6. Garnish curry with cilantro, and chilli (if using)
  7. Add lime juice and serve with couscous or quinoa (if observing low carb diet)
