Brown Rice Cereal
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- 1/4 cup organic rice
- 1 cup water
- Grind the brown rice in a blender until it resembles powder. This may take about a minute.
- In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring one cup of water to a boil. Sprinkle the ground rice into the water. Turn the heat down to the lowest setting, and stir the mixture briskly with a wire whisk. Continue cooking under low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
- Let cool. If the cereal is too thick, add a bit of warm water before serving.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a week, reheating individual portions as needed.
