Beef and Vegetable Curry

Nguyên liệu

  • ½ vừa onion , chopped
  • ½ nhỏ tomato , chopped
  • 320 g lean beef , diced
  • 1 thìa cà phê vegetable oil
  • 1 thìa canh tomato puree
  • 1 chén water
  • 80 g spinach
  • 40 g frozen peas
  • White rice , cooked

Cách làm

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the oil and add the diced beef. Sauté until browned. Add the onion and tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato puree, turmeric, chilli powder, curry powder, and cup of water; bring to a boil. Cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, until the beef is tender and cooked through. If needed, add more water.
  3. Meanwhile, boil some water in a small saucepan. Add the frozen peas. Cook until soft, about 5-6 minutes.
  4. Roughly chop the spinach and add to the curry pan. Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. Serve with rice and peas on the side.
