Nguyên liệu
- 1/3 chén sago or tapioca pearls
- 1/4 chén Sugar
- 5 chén fresh milk
- 6-8 cashew nuts , chopped
- 5 slivered almonds , blanched
- Saffron strands
- 1/4 thìa cà phê cardamom powder
- 1 thìa cà phê ghee
Cách làm
- Soak the tapioca pearls, in just enough water to soak them, for an hour. They should look fluffy and plump after soaking.
- Heat the ghee and roast the nuts and raisins separately.
- Soak saffron in a tablespoon of milk.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to boil and then reduce to a simmer.
- Add the soaked pearls to the milk and cook until soft. Keep stirring every now and then so that they are cooked evenly.
- Add saffron and sugar and cook until sugar dissolves. Then add the nuts, raisins, and cardamom powder. Mix well and serve hot or cold.
