Yes, back to school na ulit. Let's educate our kids na, not to exclude anyone for being "different." Teasing might seem harmless, but it can deeply hurt others. Oo totoo, it starts at home talaga! A few of us mums always talk about this, paano natin ma-model ang kindness kung we're the ones making comments about kung bakit "luma" ang gamit ng ibang bata, diba? I've been reminding my kids na everyone's situation is different, and just because something's old doesn't mean it's less valuable, kaya importante talaga na consistent kami sa message both at home and how we talk about others in front of them.
