You can switch anytime actually 😊 Since you’re only 10 weeks, still a pretty good time to move from subsidised to private if you already know you want a specific doctor.
If considering NUH, some female doctors moms usually recommend are Dr Sarah Li, Dr Anita Kale, and Dr Nau’shil Kaur Randhawa.
I think you just need to call the Women’s Clinic and tell them you want to transfer to private care under a chosen gynae. Better to do earlier though because some doctors’ slots can get quite full.
Not 100% sure, but I’ve heard switching back to subsidised later on can be more complicated or admin-heavy, so maybe clarify with NUH first before making the move 😊
