Will you allow your 2y/o to play in the rain on the streets?

Yes, definitely! We live in the province so I don't have any worries with him playing in the rain. But not for long, though. Maybe 5-10 minutes. In fact, my husband and I were already planning for it and we'd love to join him. It's been raining almost every afternoon noon here in Tagaytay especially now that summer's almost over. Sadly, the lightning's too scary so we haven't tried it yet. I can imagine the fun my sisters and I had when mom allowed us to bathe in the rain during our younger years. I'd like to share that kind of adventure with him. More than the fun, I'd like to encourage him to enjoy nature and be curious. I'm excited to hear him ask me about what makes it rain or where the sound of the thunder comes from and things like that. My husband and I agreed to teach our son the traditional games and enjoy the kind of adventures we had when we were kids, as much as we can. We aim to collect memories and not to buy fancy stuff or the latest unnecessary gadgets for him. Playing in the rain is definitely one of the things we'd love to try out with our son. Living like it's the 90's. LOL. And then we'll have warm bath and dig in to chocolate rice porridge. Sounds like a great family bonding moment.

i would allow him to play (not for too long though) if the rain is not too heavy and there is no lightning alert. and i would make sure he has a raincoat on and plays in a safe area and takes a hot bath after playing

first got to sure how long never rain first. if long time hot weather n then raining.. better dont coz the rain drops are dirty n acidic. not good for health. playing in the rain is very funs. ensure no thunder too.

yes if there are no thunderstorms about. it's good experience for kids to play in the rain
