Induction process
My wife is scheduled for induction on 15/12/25 (Cervix still closed) Currently 39weeks + 2 days Has anyone gone through this process? How was it?
hi all. my husband wanted to give me all 6 weeks of shared parental leave. but my employer has asked me to reconsider to not take so many weeks. my best bet is I could get 4 weeks out of 6, cos gov website stated more than 4 weeks need employer's consent. any advices?
My #1 was induced around that week too. Inserted some strip to the cervix (cervidil) and waited. Unfortunately the waiting game was a bit long for me. About 17hours to reach 3cm dilation 🥲 But the active labor part no issue.
Read moreyes. i had induce on 38 weeks. its fine not too worry. basically you will go there, they will check and insert the medicine in the cervix. then you wife will be warded. so just need to wait.
