Rich sources of nutrients that nursing mothers need include cantaloupe, honeydew melon, mangoes, oranges, apricots, grapefruit, peaches, berries, bananas, apples, pears, kiwi and guava. Be aware of your baby's reaction to citrus fruits, as these types of fruits may cause your baby to have an upset stomach -- may irritate a still-immature GI tract, leading to fussiness, spitting up, and even diaper rash in some babies. Highly allergenic food sources, like strawberries and peanuts, may be passed into breaskmilk, which can increase your baby's chance to develop an allergy to the food later in life. Hope it helps!
I don't see why you can't eat papayas and mangoes - unless the fibrousness of mango makes your throat itchy and make you cough, then I would avoid that. But it's not necessarily because it's not safe for breastfeeding. You need all the nutrients you need to keep producing milk, so eat mango and papaya all you want! Western belief says it's okay, but Indian belief says no. But truly, I haven't encountered any scientific evidence for or against mango or papaya when it comes to breastfeeding. To be sure, you may go see your lactation consultant, too.

Green Papaya or lightly riped papaya supports milk production well. So it's completely safe to eat this during breastfeeding.
All fruits are safe to eat during breastfeeding. Not just fruits, all food is!
