Baby bouncer
When can I start using the bouncer for my newborn?

Hi! Most bouncers are safe from around 2-3 weeks old once your baby weighs at least 8 pounds, plenty of mums I know started using theirs that early just to have a safe spot to set baby down when they needed their hands free, even if bub wasn't really "entertained" yet. The weight and age guideline is there because newborns need good neck support, so do check your bouncer's manual to be sure. On the flip side, once your baby starts trying to sit up or gets close to 20 pounds (usually around 5-6 months for some babies), it's time to transition out, my friend went through the same thing and said the automatic bouncer was a lifesaver early on but honestly became less useful pretty quickly once her son got stronger. Just a heads-up though, it's worth checking with your paediatrician or health visitor too, especially if you're thinking of using it for long stretches, just so you're clear on safe usage for your little one.
