When you have marital problems, who is the first person you seek help/advice from?

I've learned not to ask for advice right away hanggat kaya ko pa i-manage. Before, I used to share it with my family and friends but it looks like it doesn't help resolve the problem kasi minsan lumalala pa. So now, natuto ako to figure things out on my own.
