What do you do when you are outside and didn't bring a pump but you are so engorged? Do you just hand express and throw away the milk?

Hi Cheryl, yes if I'm outside and forgotten to bring my breast pump, I will hand express and throw away the milk. Usually I will put one or two breast storage bags in my handbag just in case. I can hand express and store my milk in those bags. Breast milk can be left in room temperature for 3-4 hours and hopefully I will get home in time to store the milk in the fridge.
