I agree with Camwy. It's when your child has "negative" reaction like crying because s/he didn't get what s/he wants. And even if you offer other things, they don't stop crying or screaming. Sometimes they even hurt themselves.
Tantrums could be when your child starts to scream, throw things or cry non-stop whenever he doesn't get what he wants. No matter what you do, you find it hard to calm down your child kasi nga he's having tantrums.
