One-sided pain and abnormal bleeding, which is a sign of ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the fallopian tubes) and affects 7% to 10% of pregnancies. If this happens, you have to undergo surgery to remove the affected fallopian tube and the pregnancy within that tube.
