What other activities can I do with my 8-month old baby?

What I usually do with my kids during this stage, I let them play toys for sensory and motor skills. This includes shape sorting and stacking. We also listen to nursery rhymes with sounds that can be easily grasped and retained in their memory and we do this over and over until they get familiarized with it.

You could always try swimming with your baby! My brother in law went swimming with his son at an earlier age, and he said it was a great way for he and his son to bond. Just a thought! Especially if you have access to an indoor pool.
