What is the difference between Singapore Maths and other countries' Math?

Singapore Maths could be based on MOE syllabus, and which is different from other coutries. But I heard that Sino bus also has Singapore math courses, and it's one-on-one teaching. My son math is poor, I am wondering If how to help him, and which tutor to choose.
