What is the difference between Singapore Maths and other countries' Math?

Singapore Math is just a local Singapore Math curriculum in Singapore. All primary schools in Singapore have been adopting the syllabus. In USA and UK, they adopted Singapore Math as one of the homeschool curriculum as some homeschooler prefers a systematic way to build up math foundation through conceptual learning.

Singapore Maths could be based on MOE syllabus, and which is different from other coutries. But I heard that Sino bus also has Singapore math courses, and it's one-on-one teaching. My son math is poor, I am wondering If how to help him, and which tutor to choose.
