What could she be doing under the sheets! 🤱 Made a bittersweet milestone this year! Almost at 5yo, my daughter finally weaned from breastfeeding. Aside from the occassional bites, the need to do stuff and alone, I can say that our breastfeeding journey is a breeze! Breastfed since birth, RED has never been seriously sick, even when we got hit with COVID. Aside from this, we can never deny the bond it created between us. While these 2 are my top reasons for breastfeeding, I can't deny the economical factor and lesser chore: no bottles to wash and prep, no need to buy milk and water! Aww, what a beautiful milestone, mama! Five years of breastfeeding is truly amazing, RED is so blessed to have had that immunity boost and closeness with you, and honestly, you're right na ang practical side ay sobrang convenient din, walang hassle ng bottles at formula expenses. A few of us moms in my circle talk about how rewarding it is when our kids finally wean on their own terms, kaya excited na rin kami na makita ang next chapter ng journey ninyo!
