It would be better if you skip using soap and body wash until rashes are gone. Give your baby a bath in lukewarm water. It's best to avoid soap, because this can irritate your child's skin. Heat and humidity can cause and exacerbate heat rash, so turn the temperature down a notch or two or put your baby in a room with a fan or air conditioning to help cool off. If possible, let your baby go natural for a while and wear light, loose-fitting clothing. Natural fibres, such as cotton and hemp, are generally lightest and most breathable. Do not apply any lotion.
