We’re planning to go to Baguio (hubby, me and baby) and it’s gonna be a budget trip. Does staying in transients work if you have a kid with you? If not, any cheap but good place to stay?

Yes, transients are less expensive alternatives than hotels plus the added benefits of extra space, kitchen, and glorious views. However, you have to book before hand especially during peak seasons. In off-peak seasons, there will be no problem choosing the perfect place for you if you walk in on the day of check in since there are numerous places to choose from (that if you go there with your own service vehicle).
