Anyone who had holter monitoring during pregnancy?
Went to a cardiologist today because of palpitations and I was required 2D echo with doppler and holter monitoring
Ay, that sounds stressful mama, palpitations during pregnancy can be really scary! I haven't personally had holter monitoring while pregnant, but a few of us mums sa group namin had to do extra cardiac checks during pregnancy dahil sa palpitations din, and honestly it's good na they're being thorough kasi better safe than sorry. The holter monitor itself is harmless, it's just that little device na susuotin mo for 24-48 hours to track your heart rhythm, totally safe for baby. Definitely follow through with the tests your cardiologist ordered kasi they need to make sure everything's okay with you and baby, at least you'll have peace of mind after.
