5 month old infant cough

Hi, want to know if anyone has experienced their 5 months old infant coughing? Started with dry cough and now it’s a phlegmy cough. Brought to polyclinic and doctor gave cough syrup and it seemed to help a bit. She’s been coughing for 3 weeks already :( Worried and not sure what else to do…
