Hi mommies, did you experienced carpal tunnel syndrome at 18 weeks? What did you do?
Very uncomfortable feeling especially at midnight.

Aww mama, that midnight discomfort must be so frustrating, a few of us in our mum group actually dealt with this during pregnancy, and it's definitely a thing! The weight gain and hormones during pregnancy can cause swelling that pinches the nerves, especially when you're lying down at night. Try sleeping with your wrist in a neutral position (maybe use a pregnancy pillow to prop your arm), and some of my friends swear by wearing a wrist brace or splint before bed, it really helps keep the pressure off. Since you're already at 18 weeks and it's affecting your sleep, definitely mention it to your OB at your next visit so they can rule out anything else and give you proper advice, carpal tunnel during pregnancy is manageable, but best to have your doctor check it out to be safe. Hang in there, the discomfort usually improves after delivery!
