Covid vaccines for kids ages 12-17 years old

Question

As a vaccinated adult, I know that I have the additional protection against the virus and as we slowly go back to normal, I look forward to having my kids receive the same protection that I have now that they are allowed to go outside.  Here in the Philippines, kids ages 12-17 years old are now allowed to receive the Covid19 vaccine. Even though my kids are not yet qualified to receive the vaccine, Ill be more than willing to have them vaccinated once they are finally allowed. Have questions regarding vaccines? Yay, great decision! A lot of my mum friends were relieved na pwede na mag-vaccine ang teens kasi mas confident sila na safe sila, lalo na pag back to school na or if may family gatherings, it's one less worry, di ba? Since your kids qualify na, I'd say go ahead and schedule with your pediatrician or sa nearest vaccination center, at kung may specific concerns ka about their health history, make sure i-mention mo din so they can assess properly.
