My baby stopped smiling 😔

Upon reaching 5months old, my baby doesnt smile anymore. He seldom cries and I tried handing him toys many times; but he isnt responsive. Sometimes, he looks at people watching him. Sometimes, he looks away. It makes me worried when I read this milestone. Actually, when he was 4months he smiled and giggled a lot. He grabbed his milk bottle often and good with his brothers.Now, I dont know what happened why he became like this.He has a scheduled check up with his pedia on Wednesday and its making me anxious that I need some answers today...Does anyone here have the same case with mine? #5months #milestone #notsmiling #babyworry

Ay mama, I understand why youre worried, nakita mo na siyang masaya before, kaya ang sudden change is really scary talaga. A few of us mum friends noticed na sometimes babies go through phases where theyre quieter or less responsive, but since he was smiling and grabbing things well just last month, its definitely worth bringing up sa pedia on Wednesday, that sudden shift is important para ma-check. In the meantime, try to stay calm kasi babies can pick up on our anxiety, at kailangan natin sila to feel secure pa rin; keep doing what youre doing with the toys and your presence, pero if you feel something is really off, dont hesitate to call your pedia today instead of waiting if it will help ease your mind.
