Cold cabbage relief engorgement

Is it true cold cabbage relief engorgement ? Do i just buy normal cabbage ? And put it in normal fridge ? Noted that overusing it can cause dryup milk

I guess it depends? For me it didn’t helped when I had mastitis even when I applied for an entire day following instructions from my massage lady. And yes normal cabbage, put in normal fridge.
