Paternity leave

those whose due date is in late Dec, do u intend to appeal for the extension of paternity leave from 2 wks to 4 wks since it will only commence on 1 Jan 2024? if yes, how can I go about appealing it? appreciate all your advices as the 2 wks would really make a difference when it comes to helping and taking care of nb :(
