• Will assess the size of your uterus • Will take your blood pressure and check your face, hands and ankles for swelling. •  Will take a urine sample to check for preeclampsia.  • Between 24 and 28 weeks, you'll likely undergo a diabetes screening. • Between 18 and 20 weeks, your practitioner will probably order an ultrasound. • Doctor visits are also about advice and support.
