SSS Maternity

Hello. Tanong ko lang kung pwede pa ba ako mag file ng maternity notification kahit 5 months pregnant na? Kasi ayaw ko kasi ipaalam sa employer ko na buntis ako kasi nagtatrabaho ako sa barko. Bale pag 5 months preggy na ako mag resign ako. Then yun remaining months is voluntary ko nalang babayaran. Pwede pa kaya yun? Sana maansin. Thank you po

Hi mama! Honestly, I'm not sure about the exact SSS rules kasi bawat case ay different, pero I think mas safe mo na directly contact ang SSS mismo or their hotline para sa specific situation mo like yan, they can give you the accurate timeline and what documents you'll need. One of my mum friends had a similar worry with her previous job and when she called SSS directly, they were actually helpful and walang hassle pa, so try mo rin!
