Post vaccine fever

My son had his 1 year old vaccine( pneumococcal) on the 23rd. He developed fever 30th evening. He doesn't wanna take the panadol syrup that was prescribed. Everytime I give him that he vomits out everything. So now I'm doing cold compress. Any other remedies to cure him without bringing him to the doctor? Pls help mummies.
