Breastfeed

Aww mama, yan talaga ang mahirap part ng breastfeeding, ang engorgement combined with sore nipples is no joke! Try warm compresses before feeds kasi makakatulong na mag-flow ng mas maayos ang gatas, then cold compress after para sa inflammation, at make sure baby's latch is deep talaga (I know easier said than done, but pagka-shallow latch, mas dudugo ang nipple). A few of us tried Mama's Choice Nipple Cream (pregnancy-safe at breastfeeding-safe, sobrang effective!) and sobrang laki ng difference, hindi na kasing-sakit, you can use it right on your nipple before and after feeds. But mama, kung hindi pa rin bumuti or nakikita mo na may pus or fever, please check with your doctor agad kasi baka may mastitis na, wag na maghintay! Kaya mo yan, we've all been there.
