Hay, GDM with insulin shots is tough talaga, pero kaya mo yan! A few of us in our mum group have been through this, and honestly the syringe injections are manageable once you get into the routine, mas makakatipid ka rin compared sa pen. For the diet, I've found na mas stable ang blood sugar ko kapag nag-stick ako sa smaller, frequent meals with protein and complex carbs, at importante talaga yung consistent meal times. Pero every pregnancy is different, so best advice ko is mag-check in regularly with your OB or endocrinologist para ma-monitor ang readings mo at ma-adjust ang insulin if needed, they can also guide you better on what diet works best for your body. Kapit lang, mama, third trimester na lang usually and totally worth it para sa baby.
