I would send to IFC. Also, this means your mum can spare sometime for herself to work or rest. If baby is sick/when you both needs to work on PH, she can help out instead of having to take care of baby everyday (very very tiring). Usually when we are home with baby, they really only eat sleep poop whereas in school they will have age appropriate activities. One way or other, even when bb progress to PG/N1 you’ll still have to go over all these again so not much difference I feel. Or maybe you can see if there are slots nearby your house?

I sent my LO to infant care he was 8mth old when it was getting taxing for my aged mother. However he fell sick every other week. And we end up taking leave to care for him or fall back on my mother again. Immune system will be better when LO is older. There are pros and cons as mentioned, like different parenting style etc so you have to weigh

I personally prefer IFC care too. main reason is to avoid the differences in parenting style…can confront IFC staff for any concerns with baby but on the other hand, it is challenging to confront own mother when things happen. Secondly, also agree that the age appropriate activities in ifc will help with bb’s social development.
