Aiyoh, 39 weeks is so close lah! A few of my mum friends experienced baby dropping at different times, some drop early, some only during labour itself, so don't worry too much yet. The fact that your baby is already in the birth canal is a good sign, even if the uterus still feels high; sometimes it's just the position and angle that makes it feel that way. Since you're almost at term, best to mention this to your doctor at your next checkup so they can confirm baby's exact position and make sure everything is progressing normally, they'll give you the clearest picture of what's happening down there!
