Someone in my mum group mentioned that because of hormonal changes, skin tends to be more sensitive during pregnancy, so the experience can feel more painful than usual, so do mentally prepare yourself for that. It is also very important to inform your wax technician that you are pregnant so they can adjust the positioning and use a gentler approach for your comfort. As for affordable kedai, I am sorry I cannot recommend a specific one off the top of my head, but maybe you can ask around in this group as I am sure other mummies here have their favourite spots!
