Better check with your doctor first la, because some insect repellents have chemicals that might not be ideal when pregnant, but there are safer options like mosquito nets over the bed, making sure windows and doors got proper screens, and keeping the house cool (mosquitoes prefer warm, humid spots). A few of us pregnant mums also swear by those plug-in electric mosquito repellents or even just a fan in the room, since mosquitoes have hard time flying around moving air, not 100% perfect but it really helps reduce bites without the chemical worry!
