Aiyo, memang biasa la anak 18 bulan macam ni, some kids are just independent or slower to respond, tapi since you're worried, better check with your paediatrician to make sure his hearing and development on track, ya? A few of my mum friends' kids were the same, turned out fine, tapi definitely worth a quick checkup just for your peace of mind.
