Is reward and punishment counted as positive parenting? How about time out?

On the whole, positive parenting and positive punishment involves adding a negative consequence after an undesired behavior happened to decrease future responses. Negative punishment includes taking away a certain desired item/reward after the undesired behavior happens in order to decrease future responses. Positive parenting is reinforce and motivate good behaviours we want to cultivate in our kids. I wouldnt say punishment rather to teach and not to reprimand.
