Repost.. FACTS: 1. K-12 stands for kinder to grade 12. 2. ISANG KINDER LANG REQUIRED PARA SILA MAKAPAGGRADE 1 AND THAT IS AT THE AGE OF 5 BY JUNE. (CUT OFF UNTIL AUGUST 31). 3. ANG NURSERY 1, NURSERY 2, Kinder 2, Preschool or ano man po ang tawag niyo ay hindi required. (optional lang iyan para sa parents kaya wag magreklamo kung magastos, kasi choice niyo iyan). 4. A child can enroll p to kinder (others call this kinder 2, kasi may kinder 1 sila, pero again isa lang ang required) at age of 5 even without taking nursery or preschool. NO SCHOOL SHOULD DENY ACCEPTANCE PRIVATE MAN OR PUBLIC. 5. LRN (learner reference number) is only given to learners (pupils) at 5yo. Pag wala siyang LRN may problema kayo, it means hindi accredited Ng DepEd ang pinasukan niya or di pa siya pasok sa age. Thus, baka paulitin pa siya ng kinder kahit 6yo na siya at pwede na sanang mga grade 1. 6. Parents should be responsible to get the proper and right information. Hindi porket ang kapitbahay or ang anak ni kumare ay pumasok ng 3yo, papasukin na rin natin si lo ng 3yo. 7. Kids will spend almost 20years in school to finish a degree, so why hurry them? 8. Kids develop differently. Don't force your child to become a super child, kasi iyon anak ng kapitbahay or kumare or ng isang celebrity ay ganito, ganiyan. 9. Academic Readiness is not equal to emotional, physiological and physical readiness. Likewise, IQ is not always the same with EQ. 10.
