if SSS maternity benefit: if working, you can discuss it with HR. if not, you can check it online or go to the nearest sss office para masagot lahat ng questions mo on how to submit maternity notification, maternity benefit and requirements, kung paano maka-avail, kung enough na ba ang hulog and such. regarding filing of maternity earlier than the EDD, you can discuss it with HR if they will approve it. start of maternity leave starts on the day of giving birth. if you want to file leave, you can file it as vacation leave/sickl leave with pay or without pay.
