Pwede ba sa 1 yr old ipainom palagi yung fortified milk? Pero breastfeed at may formula milk din po sya na iniinom. Minsan lang sya uminom ng formula. Breast milk naman po ay kokonte na nakukuha nya (direct latch, hindi na kaya ipump) mas gusto nya fortified milk kesa sa formula nya. Hay, I get it, ang galing-galing talaga pag gusto nila ng isang drink lang! Pero since mixed ito (breastmilk, formula, at regular fortified milk), better check with your pedia muna kung okay lang i-replace completely ang formula with fortified milk, kasi may specific nutrients pa rin ang formula na importante sa age na yan. A few of us moms tried doing similar adjustments, and our doctors actually preferred we keep the formula hanggang 2 years para sure sa development ng baby, pero every baby is different talaga, so kailangan sya makita ng doctor mo para ma-assess kung healthy nang mag-transition your daughter. In the meantime, pwede mo subukan i-mix yung fortified milk with her formula para mas interested sya, or present both options para habang lumalaki sya, natural na mag-adjust!
