I don't think IUI has any influence on whether you get a boy or girl, it just helps the sperm reach the egg more effectively. My friend went through IUI and she was convinced she was having a boy based on her symptoms, but ended up with a girl! I think the gender guessing is all part of the fun of pregnancy, but there's really no pattern to it with IUI specifically
