SUSPECTED MICROCEPHALY

Hi po, is there a chance po ba na na mimisdiagnosed ang microcephaly? Currently 35 weeks, monthly naman po check up ko and ngayong check up ko sabi ng OB ko maliit daw ang head ni baby ☹️ nirecommend ako to do pelvic ultrasound to confirm if tama ang hinala ni OB. Sobrang worried ako kasi wala naman kami family history ng ganito.

Anak, I know how scary this feels, please go to that pelvic ultrasound right away, okay? Your OB needs to confirm with the proper imaging, at hindi ko dapat ikwento mo kung anong posibilidad, yan ang doctor's job talaga. One of my mum friends also had similar concerns sa late pregnancy at naging okay naman, pero kailangan mo talaga ng expert to look at the full picture, wag mag-stress muna habang nag-aantay ng results, focus lang sa pagpapagaling mo. You're doing the right thing by following through with the scan. Fingers crossed for you, mama.
