CS Complications

Question

Hello po sa mga CS mommies.Ask ko lang po if may mga complications ba after nyo ma CS?Ako kasi parang ang bilis magkasakit ubo sipon ganyan which is nung dalaga ako kahit ganoong puyat at pagod sa work, malakas immune system ko.Tapos ito talaga ung major change sakin, hindi ko alam kung dahil sa catheter or what pero madalas sumakit pag naihi ako if di ako uminom ng maraming tubig. Parang UTI ganoon.Nakakapagtaka kasi never ako nagka UTI nung dalaga ako kahit nung buntis ako which is prone pa nga ang buntis diba.May same case po ba sakin?TIAFTM here

Hey mama, totally valid concern yan! A few of us CS moms noticed na parang ang immune system natin is off for a while after, some got recurring infections, UTI-like symptoms, ubo sipon pa, kaya you're definitely not alone dito. The catheter during CS can sometimes irritate the urinary tract, and honestly ang body natin is recovering from major surgery so it takes time para bumalik ang usual defense, so that change you're noticing is actually pretty common. Best talaga to check with your OB about the UTI symptoms kasi although it sounds like just post-CS irritation, mas safe na confirm with a doctor para sure at ma-rule out any actual infection, pero good news is once you're further from your CS date, marami sa amin napansin na tumaas ulit ang immunity. Drink lots of water pa rin though, that really helps! Take care, mama!
