Mix Feeding

Hello po, question lang po sana. Okay lang po bang sundan agad ng breastmilk ang formula kapag kulang kay baby yung timpla? 3mos na po kasi si LO ko and currently nagttrain pa kami para magbottle feeding na siya, 120mL(~4oz) lang yung natimpla na formula (similac), alam ko sa age siya supposedly nasa 180mL na dapat kaya nung naghanap pa siya pinadede ko na. #FTM #advicepls

Oo naman, perfectly fine yan! A few of us moms do mix feeding like that, formula then breastmilk, and it works great, lalo na if baby's still hungry after the bottle. Since your LO is 3 months and you're noticing she wants more than 120mL, sounds like she's telling you exactly what she needs, kaya go ahead and breastfeed after to top her up. But honestly, if you're worried about whether the amounts are on track or if there's anything else you want to check, mas peace of mind mo if you ask your pedia just to confirm everything's going well with her growth at intake, yun lang!
