Question

Hello po, just to make sure lang po. Medyo malapit na po kasi due date ko. EDD ko is May 2023, last hulog ni employer ko po is September 2022,  ngayon po Voluntary member nako kasi nagresign nako sa  company. Nag check po ako ng eligibility sa portal and may nag show po dun na est. amount. Now, ang question ko po is kung maghuhulog po ako ng contribution, regular nalang po ano? Wala na po ako need habulin? Kasi nahulugan naman po ni employer yung ibang months from jan-dec 2022. Thank you po sa sasagot. #respectpost

Hi po! Honestly, SSS maternity benefits and contribution schedules are super specific sa bawat situation kaya better to call SSS directly or visit their office near you, they can confirm exactly kung kailangan mo pa ba mag-habulin or regular contributions lang from now on, especially since employer mo na nag-contribute from Jan-Dec 2022, so you might be covered na! A few of my mum friends went through the same thing and glad sila na nag-confirm directly with SSS para walang problema sa claim pag dating ng baby. Good luck po sa delivery!
